DEGREE REQUIREMENTS: Associates degree in electronics or related technical field
MONTHS/YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 2 years as an electronic technician required. 2 years experience as an electronic technician supporting engineering or testing of Army related hardware or in shock and vibration analysis desired. Experience in Temperature Conditioning and/or Temperature Control of dynamic transient test desired.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to obtain an Interim Secret clearance within 60 days. Familiarity with the MICROSOFT Office suite of software. Ability to work extended hours with little prior notice. Individual will instrument test equipment and test items for the conduct and monitoring of dynamic tests and the acquisition of data during the tests. Select the test equipment required for proper instrumentation of the test. Install accelerometers, strain gages, thermocouples, and transducers; interfaces and operates test equipment; acquires, processes, and presents test data; identifies errors or inconsistencies with the data; and selects methods of data presentation. Seek the sources of errors or inconsistencies to correct the problem and determine the validity of the data.
