DEGREE REQUIREMENTS: Associates degree desired.
MONTHS/YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 5 years combined experience in Government Security processing and Human Resources.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Previous experience working with MSFC or Redstone Arsenal security. Previous experience in JPAS and EQIP. Knowledge of NISPOM. Individual should possess knowledge in security clearance processing. Individual will work with little supervision. Must be able to interpret new work requirements and apply new processes as directed by the government customer. Employee will be required to have a Secret Security clearance. Microsoft Excel and Word experience required. Microsoft PowerPoint and ITAR experience desired. Must be able to maintain confidentiality of employee information, Individual will be responsible for processing badge request with the government customer locations. Will generate and process visit requests internal and external to the government customer. Will initiate security clearance processing for employees who are required to have a security clearance. Will initiate necessary paperwork for security processing to include fingerprinting and verification of citizenship. Will prepare and present security briefings. Will process and issue DD254'as to subcontractors and forwarding to the government agency as applicable. Will assist with security audits. Will assist HR on special projects to include STD/LTD Disability claims, maintaining HR Databases, may assist with new hire orientation and employee out processing. May answer benefits questions as necessary.
