DEGREE REQUIREMENTS: High School education or equivalent. Completion of formal training in a related area from an accredited training program desired. Associates Degree in Electronics desired.
MONTHS/YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 2 years experience in electronic maintenance.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Installation, maintenance and/or repair of test and support equipment for performing or supporting environmental testing such as vibration, shock, temperature conditioning, acceleration, acoustics, etc. The installation, maintenance and/or repair involves vibration shakers, electronic power amplifiers, shock test equipment, temperature conditioning equipment, electrical motors, controllers, switchboards, circuit breakers, conduit systems, etc. Diagnose trouble in the electrical system or equipment. Work standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment.
